What is Occupational Therapy?
Occupational Therapy will help you to achieve maximum independence in your daily living activities. The therapists will assist
you with tasks such as self-care, home management and upper extremity function. With the use of assistive devices, adaptic equipment and splinting, the OT staff will
help the patient to gain function in their activities of daily living.
Occupational Therapists may also specialize in areas such as:
upper extremity rehabilitation
home modifications
neurological rehabilitation
driver
safety
sensory
integration disorders and/or cognitive deficits.
