Advanced Regional Therapy's Pediatric Services
Advanced Regional Therapy's therapists are trained to evaluate and treat children ages 0-21 years with a variety of diagnoses including orthopedic, neurological and developmental delays. Our goal is to improve the child’s quality of life and help him/her to reach his/her maximum potential. For children with special needs who receive Individual Educational Programming in the school system, we can provide therapy in the summer to help keep your child on track for the upcoming school year. Occupational Therapy for the pediatric patient addresses fine motor skills, coordination and motor planning, strength and endurance, self-care skills, social skills, cognitive skills, sensorimotor assessments and intervention, splinting and adaptive equipment and developmental delays. Physical Therapy for the pediatric patient includes gait training, musculoskeletal strength, endurance and flexibility training, balance and coordination development, motor planning, developmental delays, abnormal muscle tone and sensorimotor assessment and intervention. Speech Therapy for the pediatric patient evaluates and treats delays and/or disorders in receptive and/or expressive language, auditory processing, articulation, voice, fluency, oral motor functioning, feeding, swallowing and cognitive skills. These can be medically or non-medically based. |
